Whiskey with Cobra anyone?
We reluctantly departed Luang Prabang and headed North. A bus and boat ride led us to the sleepy village of Muang Ngoi. We walked to Huay Bo, a small village, for one night and basically adopted the layed back lifestyle that seems to define Lao culture.

Okay, forget the picturesque and scenic, let's just recognize that after six months, everybody just really wants to see Amaya touring Northern Laos!

Fish & Chips Lao Style
Freaky Cave: Imagine that you are a villager in a country that nobody has heard of; in a place where few can easily locate... then one day bombs start falling... and they continue for for nine years. During the America's secret war in Lao, some people sought refuge in caves such as this. Yikes, lets get out of here!
Amaya's Aunt TJ made her a friends/family photo album for the trip. Amaya loves showing it to everyone along the way--It has been a true 'ice breaker' of disparate cultures. So it is said, a picture is worth a thousand words; perhaps it should also be noted that those words are not language specific....
